The Glacier Videos (with song)

I made two short videos that document that melting of the giant glacier in my refrigerator. Part I gives an overall explanation of the galcier's history and our new and improved melting methods. Part II is a music video featuring the "Glacier Song" that I performed on guitar (entirely improv'd by the way). I hope you enjoy these.

The Hostel Comedy Show

We are coming up on the three year anniversary of the day that I began running the "Hostile Comedy Show". For those of you that aren't familiar it is a standup comedy show that takes place at the biggest hostel in the world -Hostel International. It is located on Manhattan's upper west side. I've been lucky in that over the years I have had a pool of great comics to book from and the foreigners - at least the ones that spoke English the night of the show - have been receptive.

...over the holidays at Nick's Comedy Stop and Dick Doherty's Comedy Vault. It was fun to be back home on a couple of the stages that I began telling jokes years ago.

new CRAPPER video is up and running

My creative friend Jeremy and I have just finished producing the latest installment in the "Crapper" series. In this latest episode (number 4 in the series) Tumbleweed, the world's first "Crapper" (country rapper) gets some insightful advice from a legit New York City emcee. Stay tuned for more chapters in this musical mockumentary series.

good news for the recent viral videos we produced

All four videos are up and running on all of the internet video hosting sites. Two of the four (including the one I wrote entitled "Draft Day" have been featured prominently as videos of the day on Crackle.com and are finalists in a $15,000 video contest. In addition, the sketch entitled "Cooties" was one of the featured videos on YoutTube as of today!

I produced a comedy show at a Drug Rehab Center

...last week. My stand-up comedian buddies and I put on a free show for the patients at a live-in 24 hour drug rehab facility in Jamaica, Queens.(From left to right: Cooper Rego, Ben Boime, myself, and Scott aka "Hogwild". Between the drug rehab and the hostel I really seem to have a handle on how to make money telling jokes, haha. (that was sarcasm btw)

I wrote the following sketch....

...and we filmed it in the VIRAL VIDEO course I recently took at the Peoples Improve Theater. It is called "Draft Day" and it's a lampoon on Fantasy Football obsession. I'm sure some of you can relate. (I know I can) Enjoy.

....was fun. I was in a scene at a rock club (Don Hills in NYC) and was fortunate enough to have some on-camera interaction with the film's star Kat Dennings (40 Year Old Virgin).

production meeting for my short film

This past Saturday I had a meeting with my DP -John R.- regarding my upcoming short film "Tube This!". We laid out a tentative skeleton of a schedule and it looks like shooting will begin the second weekend of September. On Friday I went by my agency C.E.S.D. and browsed through some headshots in the theatrical department. I found 5 or 6 female actors that could potentially work out as the girl in my flick. One of them is a regular on a Soap Opera. Stay tuned for more on "Tube This!"

you won't beLIEVE this is my own voice!!

This is a promo I did for a friend of mine. It's some type of musical CD compilation thing he is toying with. I thought that given the genre, a little Wolfman Jack immitation would be suitable. Does anyone even remember that guy? I recently saw American Graffiti and said to myself - "Dang. I can do that guys voice to a T!!!" Hilarious. Here it is music VO promo.
